Low Carb Day 1, 22 days to lose 18 LBS

Alrighty, so I have officially started over again. When I began this diet a week ago, I lost 8 lbs in 4 days, but after eating like shit for 3 days, my total weight loss was only 3.2lbs.

I now have 22 days to lose 18 lbs, going from 188.8 lbs (as of today) to 170 lbs by Christmas Eve.

So far, today has been easy. Didn’t wake up until around 1:30 and have not been hungry (probably because my body is still full, using all the shit I ate for energy). I’ve drank about 50 oz of water, and haven’t experienced any cravings yet.

No more fucking up this time. I am determined to lose this weight.

600 calories, 20 or less carbs, 100+ oz of water, less than two diet sodas a day.

Low Carb Fail

So the past few days I have gone off the wagon on the low carb diet. I gave in to every craving and ate like a complete fat ass, though I have lost five pounds since my last weigh in last friday.

SO, starting tomorrow, Saturday December 3rd, I will begin the diet all over again.

600 calories, 20 or less carbs, 100+ oz of water. No fucking up this time. My goal is to lose 18 lbs by December 24th, Christmas Eve.

Time to kick it into high gear!

Low Carb Day 5

So the worst happened late last night: I ate peanut butter. I gave in to the burning craving within me and ate about three spoonfuls of the delicious, rich, creamy peanut butter.

FUCK!

Last nights episode totally fucked up my non craving for certain foods today, thus causing me to start all over again with my body not being used to certain foods. To anyone that is trying a similar diet, DO NOT give in to cravings. They go away within 5-6 days but if you give in to that craving, you will crave it more and more, just as I have today. Peanut butter has been on my mind constantly today, and I’ve done everything I can to try and avoid it. This has caused me to smoke almost a full pack of cigarettes.

Don’t give in

Don’t give in

DO NOT give in to cravings. Totally fucks you up.

On the bright side, I was able to stay away from my craving of choice today successfully, though painfully. Breakfast was a protein shake as usual, followed a few hours later by a snack of mozzarella cheese, skipped lunch, and had baked, seasoned fish for dinner with less than a table spoon of tarter sauce.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to cut back on the soda consumption as I planned and ended up drinking about 5 cans of Coke Zero today (though I also drank about 100oz of water)

And as for ketosis, I am unfortunately still not in it, and I am sure as hell not in it now because of the peanut butter. About two more days of no sugar and I’ll hopefully reach ketosis.

Thats all. I want some fucking peanut butter. Time for another cigarette….

Low Carb Day 4

600 calories and 20 carbs or less, plus at least 100 oz of water.

Day four. Cravings are starting to disappear and Peanut Butter (my antichrist) is slowly fading away from the existence of my tastebuds.

I’ve 26 days to lose 20 Lbs. Weigh in on Friday’s will let me know my progress (last weigh in was 192.4 lbs). Also, I bought Ketosis strips to let me know if my body is burning fat for energy or not. Unfortunately, that isn’t happening yet.

Thus, I am making my diet much more strict and refraining from all sugars (which I think may have thrown me out of Ketosis as I ate a bag of 5 carb chicken jerky yesterday that had 3 grams of sugar, and steak with A1 steak-sauce with 3 carbs and 4 grams of sugar), and reducing my intake of artificial sweeteners (splenda).

So, heres my diet plan:

Breakfast:

Multivitamin, Vitamin B6 and B12, Fish oil

0 calorie, o carb Single cup of coffee with 2 splenda

110 calories, 6 carb protein shake

Lunch:

Cheese stick (60 cal, 2 carbs) OR some other sort of meat/protein: Tuna with 1tbs mayo: 160 calories, <2 carbs

Dinner:

Some sort of meat and cheese, staying around 200 calories and 6 carbs.

Anyone keeping up with my updates that is trying to lose weight as I am, please talk to your health care professional before doing so. I have been trained to be accustomed to this diet because I used to visit a weight loss clinic (Medi Weight Loss ((http://www.mediweightlossclinics.com/)) years ago, thus giving me the knowledge I need to not go overboard and die from starvation and what not.

In all honesty, I am posting the updates for my own inspiration to stay on this diet like I never have before. I’d appreciate any support. My fat ass needs to get back in shape.

yourstruly-justme asked: Have you started at full sail yet?

Nah, I went inactive. There is a Community College near me that has an AA in Recording arts, so I’ll be doing that for a year and a half and then I may come to Fullsail, but Belmont University in Tennessee is looking pretty promising too..

31 days to lose 20 lbs: Day 2

600 or less Calories, 20 or less carbs, and 100 oz of water a day.

So far, so good. Just really craving peanut butter, my fucking demise.
